It’s an exhausting time and I’m thinking I can learn from Texas on how to handle the chaos.

My wrapping skills are poor at best. Luke didn’t care which is actually a good sign for his future. He did care that the bow matched.
This is my friend Steve at about mile 36 of his 40 mile birthday run. He’s tired because he’d been running for over 6 hours. This is just how I feel today.
What would the holidays be without a little excess. Say what you want about how it looks but it tasted amazing.
This is Lucy our other house guest. She doesn’t nearly have the attitude of her French companion.
Hugo is staying with us over the holidays. He’s very French in attitude and every bit of a bulldog. He packs a lot of fun in that little body.
The tooth is finally gone thanks to some peer pressure to yank that thing out.
And I wish I were playing it and not taking pictures. It was nice spending time at the rink today.
The goal for this project was to shoot and post a new picture everyday but that’s turning into a big challenge for me in just a week.
While it’s hard to tell here, Cam was pretty excited about turning in his project. A papier mache version of Ferdinand Magellan’s boat.
Our schools don’t close because there is no busing. The boys don’t care, and in fact, they love it.
My latte art skills are seriously lacking and leave a lot to be desired. I can pull a great shot though. It tastes better than it looks.
It was my mom’s birthday today and one of those big milestone birthdays too.
The first snowfall of the year means it’s time to get out the shovels. Too bad we can’t put them away until March.
So far, at least according to Luke. The first snow of the year is always exciting.
