Bond. James Bond.
Y’ed think wit a little luck of d’Irish the dog wouldn’t walk into your shot. Don’t cha know.
We did a test run of the boys halloween costumes. Luke is super excited about his.
Cam scored some fudge from Steph’s Mackinaw Island trip. Who wouldn’t be happy about that.
Steph was gone for the weekend and Cam asked what was for dinner. I said “Steak”. My stock just went up.
A perk of the new gig. I think we were meant for each other. The Polski Cafe lives!
New gig. Nice new space and 2 monitors. The Mac snob in me has to learn how to get along with a PC. I’ll live.
Not to be completely outdone by Geoff’s crashing picture the Grand Rapids Marathon is slowly becoming one of the big time running events. No shirts required.
Geoff was having a great day riding in 3rd place and about to make his move when he slid out.
Steph and I spent the day at the Grand Rapids Marathon Expo. While a long and tiring day it was a great experience and we talked with some really interesting people and got people turned on to Soigneur. (we sold lots of product too, even some shirts)
I was downtown and working on a project. Long exposure photography is really fun because when you get it right the results are fantastic. However it’s not as easy as it seems and you have to mess with different exposure times to get it right. Amazing how much stuff was going on in the sky and it seemed like a clear calm night.
I took this picture about 2.5 years ago at the Tour of California and it’s probably my most requested picture to have printed of all my cycling photography and this week was no exception.
We had a visitor in the house today and he was as confused as we were about he got in.
Cam doesn’t get many chances to carry the ball – ok none. Saturday he got his chance and he made the best of it. 7 yards up the middle. He keeps that up he’ll get more chances.
Some of the best pictures happen around the table. I just wish I could be more subtle with the camera so Mr. Potato Head would show me his Angry Eyes.
I’ve created my own cult of little photographers. It’s great to see what they capture. Not at all what I would but great all the same.
Our front lawn is a playing field for some sport on any giving day. Today it was soccer and my poor fake Adirondak chairs were the goals posts. At least they don’t use the landscaping anymore.
This picture has off season written all over it: hairy legs and mud. If there were beer in the shot I would have had the off-season trifecta.
The boys and I meet up with a friend and his boys and we play Texas hold’em. While there are chips they have no monetary value and gambling isn’t the point. That said Luke was the youngest at the table, and no one thought he knew what he was doing. We couldn’t have been more wrong. Not only did he win this pot with 3 aces, he eventually cleaned out the entire table.
